The tighter, cleaner cotton weave holds print detail well, it's preshrunk for a true-to-size fit, and small construction details like taped shoulders, no side seams, and a seamless collar keep it holding its shape wash after wash.
Is the Gildan 64000 thin or low quality?
No. It's a 4.5 oz lightweight shirt, but the softness comes from tightly twisted, 30-singles ring-spun cotton, not from thin or low-grade fabric. That gives it a smooth, substantial feel that holds up better to repeated washing than budget open-end cotton tees, while still being light enough to wear year-round.
How do you print your shirts?
Every design is applied one of two ways, depending on the shirt's color:
Ink printed straight into the fabric
The design is sprayed directly into the shirt's fibers with fine, full-color ink, closer to a high-end inkjet printer than a stencil or screen. The ink soaks into the cotton rather than sitting on top of it, giving a soft finish that's best on lighter colored shirts.
Design applied with heat and pressure
The artwork is printed onto a film with a white base layer built in, then transferred onto the shirt with heat and pressure. Because color sits on that white base rather than soaking into the fabric's own color, it stays vivid on dark shirts.
How do you decide which printing method to use for my order?
Shirt color is the first factor. Lighter shirts lean toward ink printed into the fabric for that soft, natural finish, while darker shirts lean toward the heat-transfer method so colors stay bold.
